Type in your website’s name and the special code you got when you bought the tools. - Download and Upload
Download the file they give you. Then, put it into the main part of your website using a tool like FileZilla or your hosting panel.
Step 2: Check Where You Put the Files
The add-ons folder should merge with the main directory where SumoSEOTools or SumoWebTools is installed.
How It Should Look:
- There shouldn’t be any extra folder inside main directory
If It Looks Wrong:
- If the add-ons folder is still inside a subfolder like
sumoseotools-addons
, your tools won’t work.
Step 3: Move and Extract Files Correctly
If your directory structure looks incorrect, follow these steps:
- Locate the Add-Ons Folder
Check your hosting file manager or FTP for a folder namedsumoseotools-addons
. - Move the Zip File
- Inside the
sumoseotools-addons
folder, locate the zip file. - Move the zip file to the main directory (where the primary tools are installed).
- Inside the
- Extract in the Main Directory
now it will look like this
delete sub folder sumoseotools-addons
. and zip file.
Step 4: Test Your Website
Now, let’s see if we fixed it!
- Open Your Website
Use your internet browser to go to your website. - Try the Tools
Click on any tool and see if it works without showing errors.
